Samsung N210 Netbook

I'm selling my Samsung N210 netbook, which I have owned from new.

I have just done a fresh installation of Windows 7 Starter, which is fully activated and has the latest Microsoft updates installed (see photos). I've also installed AVG Antivirus and Firefox browser, so you can browser the Web safely. The Microsoft Edge browser is also installed.

Condition

The computer works perfectly, but the battery does not hold charge. This isn't a problem if you plan to use the computer plugged in, otherwise you can easily buy a replacement battery. The battery model is AA-PL1VC6B. Compatible batteries cost around £12 on AliExpress. For example:

£12.40: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32683873444.html
£12.34: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003091100833.html

Please note: because the battery doesn't hold charge, when you unplug the power cable, the computer will forget the time and date. This isn't a problem, as you can simply set the correct time and date in Windows, or wait for it to automatically update from the Internet. The reason I mention this is because you'll see a message when you first start the PC – please don't worry, this is not a fault with the computer! It's simply because the battery doesn't hold charge anymore.

It's also worth noting that the netbook has its original 250 GB hard disk drive (HDD), which is not the fastest storage type. If you're just looking for a cheap netbook and you don't mind it being a bit slow, then it certainly won't bother you. However, if want to make the computer faster, you can easily replace the HDD with any 2.5" solid state drive (SSD). For example:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305350492281
  • £9.98 for 128 GB SSD
  • £16.98 for 240 GB SSD
  • £28.98 for 480 GB SSD

Returns & Refunds

This is an honest sale and I'm offering a 14-day return period if you have any problems.
