SCEPTER plasma rod lamp

this is module lamp with add-on "scepter" on the top or you may choose only scepter add-on if you already have an basic module lamp(with cap) already. Also there is other add-ons listed in my store and will be more in future!

If you interested in history and components - Plasma rod is based on vintage NOS neon gas-discharge tube GSh-3 that made in 1980' year in ex-USSR. Have excellent quality since after 44 years it still works as NEW and that's not strange because it was primary made for military purposes and even was denied to export. Initially that tube is noise generator in a range from 1700 MHz to 3300 MHz for accurate metrology - for tuning devices and as sensor. Since Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz - It potentially could be used in that sphere too but I have made only lamp and it not affect Wi-Fi at all because connected another way.

On the top - there is nixie tubes IN-28 and IN-3.

Lamp have 2 modes, that could be changed by switch the bottom side of case: constantly light and light reacts to sound, making neon inside jumping (could look at video). And of course third position - OFF mode.

Powers from both 110V or 220V through adapter that brings 12V-15V to lamp which is fully safe to use. Also on the top of tube there is cap, also for safety. At a moment I have few US type adapters and EU type and will send according to country from where you have ordered this item.

Similar effect have popular "plasma balls" - when you touch tube, neon glow concentrated near hands. But plasma balls usually consists of more cheaper gas mix. This tube have only neon gas inside, no any mercury or other mixes. Thats why it glows pure rich red color.

That is module-system lamp! This lot include just cap to close HV output of neon lamp and rocket add-on, you can change it easily! Already done also "rocket", "chaos eye" and will be more in nearest future!
