1969 Gibson Byrdland

Carved top & flamed maple back (some were laminate) Made in Kalamazoo

Best and rarest Natural finish , the best woods were reserved for the blonde finish guitars.
One of the last orange label guitars.

Lovely carved flame maple back and lovely flamed neck, no fretwear

Complete with original case

Has the sought after 1 11/16 (42mm) nut width rather than the smaller 1 9/16 (40mm) which is too small for most peoples hands nowadays.

Imported from Olivier's Guitars in the States around 10 years ago

All original apart from pickguard which had gassed as most have done from this period and pickguard bracket, the nut has also been replaced with a period correct one. The original nylon saddle bridge is included, but I have fitted a Gibson brass nut version as I preferred the tone.

Collection from Northampton only please or happy for you to contact me with a view to meeting at a train station.
