Home, Away & Emergency button alerts monitoring company who can 2-say speak thru Console or silently listen to call police, fire, ambulance or anyone on your custom call list.. Includes emergency panic button. Loud alarm siren at full volume when any sensor opened (flashes on Console) except door(s) with delayed entry.

Each door / window sensor will light on console when open to alert you before leaving or bedtime. Volume controlled (under hinged top cover)  chime when door opened.

Console will alert when any sensor has a low battery (sensor blinks on Console).

Learn button under hinged toop cover to add sensors or change secret code.

Test button allows you to test system after notifying monitoring company.

No motion detector to be triggered by pets home alone or when alarm is armed.

12 window / door sensors with 12 mounting plates, screws, & magnet sensors including 3 window sensors with 2 magnet sensors for double hung windows. Entry delay is 45 seconds (adjustable up to 255 seconds) in order to disarm Console if you enter by a delayed sensor door that doesn't have exterior keypad. Each can be manually set on back to instant or 30 second delayed (see photo). Any delayed sensor (exit door) will arm after 30 seconds (adjustable up to 255 seconds).  Any sensor can be bypassed to leave open when arming system (like leaving an upper story window open at bedtime for fresh air) & bypassed sensor light will be lit on Console. Any bypassed sensor if closed (like open window or door) will be restored to armed status.

Was told by Monitronics installer that system uses military grade hardware. If electricity lost, panel will dial Monitronics (if that is your monitoring company) and has a backup battery (may need to be replaced & haven't tested) that lasts for 6 hours according to manual. Panel can listen in during alarms using panel speaker (see photo) & for 2-way conversations. My experience was Monitronics could hear me in the farthest master bathroom 40' away and in basement storage area. Original cost over $1560 after alarm installer discount.

Batteries were removed for move. Will need  28 new #2032 button batteries & 9V batteries (remote keypad & smoke alarm) as well as sticky back for magnets & sensor mounting plates which backing installer should provide.
