Retro is in!!!!!

This was my Mom’s wedding dress when she married Dad in 1950. I wore the same dress when I got married in 1988!!

The dress is by Francine of Hollywood. It is well preserved for it’s age.

The lace is in good repair. I did have the sleeves of the jacket reinforced with netting before I wore it. (And, I wore a different, more casual dress, for our reception.) It has yellowed over the years. A GOOD dry cleaner might be able to whiten it up if you’re interested. 🤞🏼

The jacket has small shoulder pads.

I would love to see another bride give it a walk down the aisle!! 👰🏼👰🏽👰🏻👰🏾

Measurements (laying flat) are:

Waist: 13 1/2” side to side

Bust: 17” armpit to armpit

It is tea length so the measurement from the top of the straps to the bottom of the lace is 51”.
