Here is a large drink mug from late 1970's, free when you bought a drink during the show at G. William Oakley's 'Goldenrod Showboat'.  Mug has a couple stains, one on the outside and one on the inside (inside stain is caused by a crack), the crack is visible from the outside.  All are visible in the pictures and marked up.  Mug should not be used for drinking from.  Mug is 5 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches diameter bottom, 3 1/2 inches diameter at top.  Pictures are part of the description and will be the item shipped.  Buy Happy!

Built in 1909. the Goldenrod traveled up an down the Mississippi serving up entertainment to 15 states.  The Goldenrod was the last showboat to work the Mississippi. Under the ownership of Capt. Bill Menke, she was moored at the St. Louis riverfront in 1937.  In 1962 a fire caused the boat to have to under go a complete renovation.  It was reopened in 1965 hosting the National Ragtime Festival at St. Louis until it became the Goldenrod Showboat providing a unique style of melodrama plus vaudeville olio, in a high energy format created by G. William Oakley of Denver, Colorado from 1975 till about 2001 when the boat was run aground.  The showboat burnt to the water in 2017 and was scrapped.
