Antique /1920's Reclaimed Pure Silk Velvet Remnant in OOAK color "Roses of the South". One of two identical colors in different sizes offered separately this week.
Like a lush evocative Strauss Waltz, this is a sumptuous textile into which you'll want to immerse your whole body.. but there are only two pieces of this color left so you might have to settle for making some flowers, some doll clothes, or with this listing a hatband for yourself.
Rescued from a damaged 1920's Opera Cloak and redyed by me in the 1980's. Wonderfully soft, shimmery, thin, fine, fluid, with a tight close weave, and luscious.
