A scarce Shelley "Coral Flower" 11637/6 Queen Anne shape sugar bowl (from a coffee service) C.1928. 

Pattern No 11637: Coral Flower amongst leaves and tendrils. Lilac large panels. White small panels. White interior. Black edges. Entered into pattern book during or after 1928.

The shape of this sugar bowl is the Queen Anne shape which was produced between 1926 and 1960. 

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark.

Dimensions: base 43mm (1.75 inches) / distance across top 100mm (4 inches) / height 58mm (2.25 inches).

Condition: In excellent clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or scratching. All paintwork / enamelling is in excellent order with no fading to the pattern. The bowl has an excellent "ping" to it when lightly tapped. A fine example.
