A scarce Shelley "Coral Flower" 11637/6 Queen Anne shape demitasse cup & saucer C.1928. 

Pattern No 11637: Coral Flower amongst leaves and tendrils. Lilac large panels. White small panels. White cup interior. Black edges. Entered into pattern book during or after 1928.

The shape of this cup and saucer is the Queen Anne shape which was produced between 1926 and 1960. 

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark.

Dimensions: demitasse cup base 32mm (1.5 inches) / distance across top of cup 59mm (2.3 inches) / height of cup 60mm (2.3 inches) / saucer 112mm (4.4 inches).

Condition: Both pieces are in excellent clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or scratching. All paintwork / enamelling is in excellent order with no fading to the pieces. Both pieces have an excellent "ping" to them when lightly tapped. An fine example.
