For the venerable GARRARD 201  Transcription Turntable used in 1931 by the BBC. Also, quite a number of EMG and Ginn Expert Gramophones used this high end motor.

This part is always missing: An exact replica of the oiling plug that goes on top of the turntable spindle.

The spindle is very short to start with, and with the plug missing, not only does dust go down the spindle into the bearings, records are also difficult to center.

This is an exact replica of the plug, see the fourth picture with the original on the right hand side, and the replica next to it.

The last two pictures show the plug in place on the 201.

Made from blackened brass to the original specifications.
