A Shelley "Green J"  pattern No 11740 Vogue shape tea saucer. C.1930. 

Pattern No 11740: Green J and border. Blue flowers with black stems and black and grey leaves. White ground. Entered into pattern book during or after 1930.

The shape of the tea set that this saucer originates from is the Vogue shape which was only produced between 1930 & 1933.  

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark.

Dimensions: diameter 140mm (5.5 inches).

Condition: In very good clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Light surface wear commensurate with age. Enamelling is in good order with no fading to the pattern. The saucer has a very good "ping" to it when lightly tapped.
