For sale is a rare reticulated basket made by Niderviller in the 18th century . It is hand painted with two superb floral medallions to the outside, a floral arrangement to the bottom inside as well as three flower buds and some leaves, Nice green trim to the inside top arches gold trim to the top edge and some nice pink, green and gold trim to the outside. It's a really nice looking basket! Handle to each side. The trim to the outside of the reticulation makes it looks like a woven basket. Great colors and the quality is top notch! The basket is marked with a CC under a crown mark one does not see too often on their goodies. It is 3.25 inches tall and about 8 inches in diameter. It is in superb condition with a spot or two of paint flaking and a small chip to the bottom edge colored in with gold to hide it almost perfectly. Some yellow staining to the inside edge from when it was made. Porzellan Korb 18thC
