Presented is an elegant silver creamer. This piece has no marks but it is probably American from 1765-1780. This piece is hand-hammered and has a beautiful rippled edge. The handle is a fancy scroll pattern.

This piece is in fair condition, especially when considering age. The piece has one notable repair; it seems that the handle has been reattached. There are a solder marks at the base of the handle and the top has been reattached through the addition of an extra bit of applied silver. The repair has been done cleanly and the handle is now firm and secure. Secondly, The base has been cracked about halfway around (see photo 7). This break does not, however, seem to make the piece more unstable or wobbly.

Overall, This creamer is an elegant and interesting find. Breaks could be repaired easily, if desired. The creamer is clean and ready for use. There are no monograms and no monogram removals.
