Coin Highlights:
Gotham City's formidable hero of the night, Batman, takes on the indestructible Man of Steel from Metropolis in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The feature film pits the Dark Knight against the Man of Steel in a battle for superiority, as Batman views Superman as holding a God-like position in the eyes of mankind.
These coins feature polygon shapes of contrasting sizes, with varying degrees of matte finish to help create the illusion of shattered glass on the reverse side of the coin. DC Comics artists came up with the imagery used on all Dawn of Justice coins from the RCM.
On the reverse you'll find the images of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman arranged from top to bottom on this face in horizontal sections. Engravings of the coin's year of issue and face value are included on this side.
The obverse features the familiar right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II from Susanna Blunt. Her Majesty's effigy is included with the engravings 'Elizabeth II', 'D.G. Regina', and 'Canada'.
