HOLE IN THE SUN, Viggo Mortensen, photo book, 2002 1st edition, Perceval Press (Santa Monica, CA), 6.25 x 6.25-inch polished HB, no DJ as issued, 95 pp. printed on very thick, white glossy stock which look new and durable at age 22, each photo has a simple title and year it was taken at the bottom right corner; excellent condition - clean and tightly bound, tiny bumps at tips of upper front corners, otherwise like new).
PLEASE NOTE: The actor inscribed and signed boldly in fine black ink on the front flyleaf - "For Larry! (sketched heart) Viggo"

*I acquired this at the Encino Hills estate sale of an old-time Hollywood photographer and his wife, both of whom, I believe were from Europe. I don't know how Viggo was connected to him but suspect it with was through photography with Larry a mentor..
To Viggo's great credit, he's a committed photographer and this book features several photos taken around the backyard pool of a house that looks like it was destined to be torn down and replaced by a larger, finer home. There are also more natural shots clearly not taken in that space. Although small, it's a handsome, high-end book published by a tiny Santa Monica outfit called Perceval Press.
There are 3 signed copies on eBay, all with personal dedications. The cheapest, in hear-fine condition and accompanied by a single photo, is $110.00 + $5.61 shipping. The book itself isn't signed but comes with a publisher's tie-in card with VM's name and the book's title printed at the top. He inked "Thank you, Glenn -- (small sketched heart) Viggo".
