This handmade wall hanging has a bright and colorful image of the traditional Japanese Koinobori streamers. Traditionally, these are flown on the Japanese national holiday Kodomo No Hi (Children’s Day) on May 5th. Families set up koinobori in order to bring good health and success to their children.

The design is printed on cotton fabric and has a charming combination of blue, pink and red. The border and backing are a rich blue shade. This is hand quilted with a thick polyester batting so it’s nice and fluffy. The top has 5 wide fabric loops for hanging.

This measures 32” x 45”. Condition is excellent with no issues or fading.

Unique Japanese folk art home décor. The bright colors and striking MCM design make for an eye-catching design focal point. Nice enough to give as a gift.
