This handmade wall hanging has a bright and colorful image of the traditional Japanese Koinobori streamers. Traditionally, these are flown on the Japanese national holiday Kodomo No Hi (Children’s Day) on May 5^th. Families set up koinobori in order to bring good health and success to their children.

 

The design is printed on cotton fabric and has a charming combination of blue, pink and red. The border and backing are a rich blue shade. This is hand quilted with a thick polyester batting so it’s nice and fluffy. The top has 5 wide fabric loops for hanging.

 

This measures 32” x 45”. Condition is excellent with no issues or fading.
