Early Victorian CUT-STEEL BRACELET w/ Lovely MOP Center Piece

Early Victorian CUT-STEEL BRACELET w/ Lovely MOP Center Piece

A bracelet very similar to this one is pictured on page 104 of Ginny Dawes reference book on Victorian and Georgian jewelry.
She dates the bracelet to the early 19th century.
The center piece of this bracelet features cut-steel and gold (probably pinchbeck) and outlined with mother-of-pearl.  Only 18K gold was available at that time, so pinchbeck (an alloy looking like gold) was quite popular.
The fastener on this bracelet is a more contemporary replacement (of sterling).
The bracelet is 7" in length.
In very good condition (no rust).
