Vintage Glass Pickle Jar & Drip Bowl Set on Silver Plated Stand

Condition Glass good with just a couple of chips to the underside foot rim of the pickle jar showing in picture 8. Stand good with marks indicative of both age and usage. Naturally tarnished. We have left the tarnishing on. You may wish to polish this away depending upon preference.
This vintage item is a Glass Pickle Jar & Drip Bowl set, accompanied by a Silver Plated Stand with a designated space for a pickle fork. The pickle jar measures approximately 150mm in height including the stopper, while the stand reaches up to 216mm to the top of the handle. The stand features a small hook for hanging a pickle fork, and a glass pot sits underneath to catch any drips.
Crafted from silver-plated metal, the stand bears the marking "EPNS" on its underside, indicating it is electroplated nickel silver. It rests on three ball feet for stability, and the handle can be unscrewed from the base of the stand if desired.
Historically, such pickle jars with accompanying stands were common household items, especially during the early to mid-20th century. They were utilised for storing and serving various pickled foods, such as cucumbers, onions, or peppers, often as accompaniments to meals or as appetisers.
