Vintage silver plated swing handled sugar basket with cobalt blue glass insert.

Height approximately 95mm or 140mm with handle raised. Diameter approximately 80cm.

Weight 326g gross 176g with glass liner removed.

This item does not react at all to a strong magnet and I have made the assumption that it is plated rather than solid because of the absence of English or Continental silver markings. The only marking on this item is "4/254-31" etched on the underside - see last photo.
