This listing is for a superb designer time piece by OMEGA, one of the world’s most respected watch making dynasties. Produced entirely in-house, this is a stunning piece that quintessentially invokes the era in which it was produced. With an enchanting CHAMPAGNE SILVER dial backdrop and fitted with a BRAND-NEW lovely quality 19mm leather strap, this will make a fine addition to any high-end watch collection. Subtle and MINIMALIST, this Omega watch is versatile and supremely elegant, making it the perfect accompaniment to a sharp suit or a more casual outfit.

 

Condition is very good and the piece has been well cared for over its 57 years of life. Time keeping is equally impressive and it has a long off wrist power reserve, though with no recent service history we recommend this be serviced soon in order to preserve the integrity of the movement and ultimately your investment. Well worth it! It will be presented in a non-Omega watch box for safe delivery.

 

 

 

The Dial

The dial is signed for OMEGA AUTOMATIC at the top and at the very bottom it says SWISS MADE.

 

Ultimately this is a minimalist and understated piece. The lovely CHAMPAGNE SILVER backdrop has a subtle radial sunburst texture.

 

There is a date aperture at the 3 position – the crown is pulled out all the way to enact the QUICKSET FUNCTION.

 

 

The Case

 

The case is subtly styled in RETRO TV style and at 32mms is a very pleasing midsize for the more refined gentleman’s wrist.

 

Please note the OMEGA SIGNED CROWN.

 

The case consists is all Stainless Steel and fully signed inside for OMEGA and shows the case model code – 162.025.

Movement

The movement is the superior quality OMEGA in-house 565 24 JEWELS AUTOMATIC. It is currently in great working order, keeping good time.

 

Please note however that vintage watches cannot be guaranteed and it is always advisable to have them serviced at regular intervals to protect your investment.

 

Cosmetic Condition

Cosmetically, there are few if condition issues to consider. The crystal and dial are in good condition with only some very light age-related wear evident. The case is equally good with a couple of marks here and there – and one on the back but it can’t be seen when worn. The case is all stainless steel and can be fully polished to factory standard if desired. Most importantly, please study the photos and make your own assessment prior to bidding.

 

Strap

It comes on a BRAND-NEW lovely quality dark Chestnut Brown 19mm leather strap.
