HENRY KUCK 1872 SAVANNAH GA, TEAL SODA, SMOOTH BASE, VERY GOOD CONDITION

A dug bottle with light scattered stain mostly on the inside. Some light scattered ground marks and VERY LITTLE  high-point wear.

This bottle has a small defect on the lip which came from the manufacturing process.
I have been a bottle collector for 50 years. I have examined this defect closely under magnification and I guarantee this defect is from the original manufacture process. It is NOT a typical ding, chip, bruise, or repair.
In this case, a small portion of the glass has a thin air-gap behind it. This thin air gap has since retained some stain and dirt from being buried in the ground for over 100 years.
Please note how the shape of this defect is entirely different from a typical "bruise" which is usually a nice smoothly-curved C-shape.
Please examine all the photos closely and make your own decision about this defect.
Thank you for looking.
