100 fresh seeds Bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) 

Taxodium distichum (bald cypress) is a very beautiful deciduous conifer tree. Hardy and tough, this tree adapts to a wide range of soil types, whether wet, dry, or swampy. It is noted for the russet-red fall color of its lacy needles.  Taxodium distichum is a large, slow-growing, and long-lived tree. The oldest known bald cypress  is 2600 years old. It typically grows to heights of 35–120 feet (10–40 m) and has a trunk diameter of 3–6 feet (0.9–1.8 m) 
The bald cypress grows in full sunlight to partial shade. This species grows best in wet or well-drained soil but can tolerate dry soil.
This tree is suitable for cultivation in light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. It does well in acid, neutral and alkaline soils and can grow in very alkaline and saline soils. It prefers moist or wet soil and can grow in water. It can tolerate atmospheric pollution.  The cones are often consumed by wildlife.

Growing and sowing instruction:
Stratification: The seeds mixed with a little clean,damp sand or damp vermiculite and placed in a clear plastic bag at temperatures between 3-5 Celsius  which is about the temperatures found in your fridge. After between 12 weeks under these conditions the seeds are ready to be sown. 
Can be sown outdoors in the fall for spring germination,
Germination: Cover the seeds with 5 - 10 mm of vermiculite or failing that a fine layer of sieved compost. Follow with a gentle watering and keep them at room temperature– around 20 celsius. Once the seedlings appear above the compost give them plenty of light, but not full sun.
Germination will begin a few weeks from sowing.
