An unusual green trim Shelley Dainty White tea cup & saucer. C.1940+.

Plain white ground with green edges and cup handle. 

The back stamp is the 1940-1966 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this cup & saucer is the Dainty shape which was produced between 1896 & 1966.

Dimensions: diameter of cup base 38mm (1.5 inches) / distance across top of cup 88mm (3.5 inches) / height of cup 59mm (2.4 inches) / saucer 145mm (5.7 inches) 

Condition: Both pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or signs of wear. All paintwork is in very good order. Both pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
