This Karna Razer BoomSlang "ball" mouse, circa 2000, is a must-have for any collector or gaming enthusiast.   At launch it featured an unprecedented resolution of 1000dpi using patented dpi encoder technology operating at a blazing 6 MIPS making game play is insanely smooth and was the choice of champions. 

This mouse comes complete in the original box with a collectors tin and includes instructions and driver CD, although the tin is now showing some signs of aging after 24 years in storage (see photos)

It has a USB connector on the end of a very generous 7ft cord and the included software is says that it is compatible with Windows 95 / 98 / 2000 / ME.  The mouse will also function on a modern Windows 10 system as basic mouse drivers are automatically installed when plugging in the USB connector allowing the functionality of the 3 main buttons, scroll wheel and mouse movement. 

Basic functionality has been tested and is working; the mouse feels smooth in the windows desktop and the ball provided a satisfying tactile feedback not present in the optical mice of today. It should be noted that the primary and secondary buttons required a firm press to activate whilst the middle and underside buttons were more forgiving.
