This registered air mail cover was mailed by Milne & Co., S.A., Ford Section in Piura, Peru and sent to Buffalo, New York in 1951 franked by:

a 1s Toribio de Luzuriaga issue of 1949, Scott 430,
(2) 15c Archaeological Museum, Lima issues of 1951, Scott 438, and
a 20c Industrial Bank of Peru issue of 1951, Scott 439.

The stamps are tied to the envelope by three double circle datestamps.

Slit open top, the backflap is sealed and intact. No contents. Markings verso:

A purple, rectangular Piura, Peru 'Certificado' handstamp,
a Talara, Piura double circle datestamp in black, 
a black New York double oval Registry Division handstamp, and
(2) different, magenta, Buffalo, NY double circle registry handstamps.
