Back at it this time with a CLEAN!! RUST FREE 2007 2500 suburban from Portland Oregon. This beautiful unit is now being powered by a2007 LMM Duramax engine and of course the legendary 6 speed Allison 1000.Which is a perfect combination of power and reliability, if you ask just about anyone that has been involved the diesel world over the years. As always when we set out to build one of these "FUNVEE'S" I personally like to ensure we are using the best of the best. Starting with selecting the perfect candidate for the swap, and best shape lowest mile donors we can find to start off our builds.

On this build our donor vehicle was a one owner 2007 Sierra 2500 HD that had just under 82,000 miles on the odometer when it was wrecked. After being given a unique second life in one of our builds it currently has 84,609 miles on the clock. As I am sure most of you know by now. I personally make it my mission to ensure that each conversion has at least 1000miles put on them before they are sold. This ensures that you are getting proven quality tested product. In a state that requires emissions? No problem while a lot of the donors we get do already have the emissions systems removed. We have managed to secure a handful of complete emission systems. Every build we produce has all the factory emission harnesses prewired into them ready to go. The cost for this option is an additional $4000 this covers the cost of the exhaust system, install labor, and a retune to enable the systems operation.

AS WITH ALL OUR UNITS EVERYTHING functions as it should and is factory appearing as if it was built by GM. I am well aware other builders may have cheaper conversions on the market and there is a reason why they are cheaper. We 100% do NOT use or buy donor powertrains with over 120,000miles more so we like to stay under the 100,000-mile mark. It goes without saying that it is A LOT harder to get a hold of those these days. Our pricing is higher because we only use QUALITY DONORS that can cost anywhere from$10,000- $20,000 to buy. Low volume high quality builds are all that we produce and it shows in our work.
