For sale is a hot water or small coffee pot made by Höchst in the late 18th century . It is hand painted with a nice large floral arrangement on either side, a flower on the front as well as some small flowers on the lid. Nice puce trim to the handle, spout and finial and a brown trim to the rim of the lid. The pot is in great condition with a small chip to the lid, the stem that connects the pear to its leaves of the finial is missing and the bottom of the handle has a crack in it from stress. All in all it displays superbly and is very nice! It is 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue wheel mark with the crown over it as well as incised IN. Kaffeekanne German Germany
