Selling an old 16mm home movie on a 400 ft reel.

I do not have a projector to play the film but do not think it can be run through a projector because it has warping and "VS". I looked at some of the footage with a magnifyer and took some pics of some of the frames.

The film is made up of what seems to be several home movies put together and there are breaks in the film.

The footage looks old and shows family scenes, people with an old airplane. U.S. Veterans Hospital No.81

I believe this was called Bronx NY Veterans Hospital later called James J Peters VA Medical Center opened in 1922.

Shows old looking cars , playing on swings, fishing off a dock, swimming etc..

The most interesting part is footage of a famous ship that caught on fire just off the Asbury New Jersey shoreline.

The SS Morro Castle went up in flames in the morning of Sept 8 , 1934.

The ship sat off the shoreline until it was towed away on March 14 , 1935.

I do not know how much footage is out there showing the ship after the disaster.

Even though the condition of the footage is not very good if it is rare footage hopefully someone can save and or restore it since it has historical maritime importance.
