Rare tin. Vintage circa 1950’s Norwegian America Line cruise ship collectible tin box with two sailors standing on the globe shaking hands, with the phrase Hands across the Sea and Norwegian America Line Norway Direct. On the back of the tin, it says Designed and Produced for Norwegian America Line by Chr. Bjelland & Co. A/S, Stavanger, Norway. Merry Christmas is written across the front side with NAL flag and there are holly leaves and gift bow. One side shows a child on skis bringing home the holiday tree, and the statue of liberty with New York skyline.

Box has hinged lid, it doesn’t open easily, but closes tightly. It is in fair original vintage condition, with wear from use and time, there is a dent on top and some rust and scratches. Please check out photos carefully.

A really nice collector piece.
