Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by Durgin during the late 19th century. This piece is int he Chrysanthemum pattern, which was patented in 1893 and it is old, original production. The handle and top of the bowl are finely cast with detailed chrysanthemum flowers and leaves. The front of the handle has a Gothic style monogram of the letter C.

The back is marked for Durgin, sterling silver and has a retailer's mark.

This piece is in great overall condition. There are no damages or repairs.
