For sale is a teapot made by the Vienna factory in about 1765. This piece is hand painted with two nice floral arrangements as well as a few small single flowers scattered around but my favorite part is the animal spout and nice early handle shape. The pot is marked with the under glaze blue shield / beehive mark as shown as well as an impressed small circle or letter O and an impressed number 2. It is in nice condition with just a few not terrible chips to the spout but it is sadly lacking its lid! These pieces look great on a mantle with others lacking their lid used to display dried flowers or something along those lines. Of if you happen to have a lid with a more damaged pot here is your chance to upgrade! The piece is 4 inches tall, 8.75 inches from spout to handle and has a diameter of about 4.75 inches. 18th century Austria Austrian Teekanne
