this black & white map covers the beautiful medieval towns  of

Wolfenbuttel - Oschersleben - Goslar - Halbserstad

ranging across from the

Harz Mountains to Saxony-Anholt

in Eastern Germany, just west of Leipzig & Potsdam.


The back is of the map's cover is headed:

"Deutscher lerne die Heimat kennen,

wandere mit Karten der Landesaufnahme"


("Germans get to know their homeland by hiking

and using maps of the Country's Land Survey)


In a superb clean and only very lightly-used condition, this folded paper map 

with a cream card cover is a really

 cracking example of an early Third Reich Home Front map!
