Jim Sullivan is the quintessential private press mystery, leaving the world an arcane psych-folk masterpiece in 1969 and vanishing in mysterious circumstances in 1975. His album, U.F.O. remained the stuff of legend until Light In The Attic were able to track down the masters. Sullivan was always on the cusp of fame, and his one shot came from this session with Phil Spector's legendary session players The Wrecking Crew, but alas the album remained just outside the rarely conquered realm of resounding success. A misfit for the times, but absolutely a gem that brings out the best of late 60s songwriting in the same breath, it's a stunning album more than worthy of the LITA remastering and attention to detail.
