This is an antique New Hampshire history book, "THE LONDONDERRY CELEBRATION - Exercises of the 150th Anniversary of the Settlement of Old Nutfield, Comprising the Towns of Londonderry, Derry, Windham, and Parts of Manchester, Hudson and Salem, N.H. - June 10, 1869." Compiled by Robert C. Mack. 1870; John B. Clarke; Manchester, NH. The book contains numerous engraved portraits and facsimile signatures. Contents include transcripts of various orations and addresses (including an address by Horace Greeley), poems, a first-hand account of the celebration and the dinner, biographical sketches of eminent men associated with the town's history, letters "received from gentlemen who had been invited to be present at the celebration, but who were unable to attend," a section titled "Antiquarian Tent" describing various historical items on exhibit, and a "Letter from Gov. Shute to Colonel John Wheelwright."
