Hard to find Silvertone Model 1850 "Skyscraper" tombstone radio.  This is the farm version of the 1809A radio, as the exterior design is exactly the same, but this radio operates on batteries only.  As such, the radio is being sold "As Is", in untested condition, but it should not take much to get this radio working.  All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly, as does the dial indicator.  The knobs are all original.  The battery cable wires are in good condition - and the grill cloth is in great shape, with no rips or tears.  The finish on the radio has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.  There are some minor veneer chips on the front - see photos.  In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
