The Argus Color Camera is a vintage camera known for its simplicity and iconic design. Produced by Argus, a renowned Ann Arbor, Michigan camera manufacturer, this camera was introduced in the mid-20th century and became popular among amateur photographers. It is nearly identical to the Argus A3 but with a attached light meter. With its compact and lightweight body, the Argus Color Camera is easy to carry and handle, making it suitable for everyday photography. Equipped with a fixed lens and manual exposure controls, including aperture and shutter speed settings, this camera allows photographers to exercise creative control over their images. While its functionality may be basic compared to modern cameras, the Argus Color Camera holds nostalgic value for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage photography equipment.

Exterior condition is good- with mostly light wear. Faux leather lining is healthy and not peeling. Bottom plate has some light surface rust in one area. Film compartment is clean. Lens and viewfinder are clear. Lens controls operate smoothly. Tested for shutter speed selection, aperture adjustment, shutter operation, film advance and film rewind. Only known flaw is that 'bulb' setting on shutter speed selection appears to be non-functional. No test film developed.
