The G6136T-59 Limited Edition Falcon with Bigsby is a limited edition Falcon model with an exhilarating look that combines Lake Placid blue color and silver sparkle binding.
The body is constructed of maple with a 17" wide, 2.75" thick hollow body construction with 1959-style trestle bracing, combined with a maple neck.
The ebony fingerboard features Gretsch's traditional neo-classic thumbnail inlay position markers and is 25.5" (648mm) scale.
The ebony bass is pined to prevent the bridge from shifting while playing, and features a locking bar bridge that works well with the Bigsby, as well as a Grover Imperial machine head with a vintage look and locking function. The pickups are the first of the Filtertron series.
The pickups are TV Jones Ray Butts Full Fidelity Filtertrons, a reproduction of the earliest Filtertron pickups, and a string-through Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece for easy string changes.
The circuitry includes a proprietary "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitor and a no-load tone pot that is completely bypassed when the tone is full. The Falcon is also equipped with a "Falcon Illustration" and a "Grayscale" design.
The limited edition model also features a silver-colored pickguard with an illustration of a Falcon and the Gretsch logo, a jeweled G-arrow control knob, and other special looks typical of a limited edition model.
The locking head is made by Grover, which enhances tuning stability.
TV Jones full fidelity Filtertron pickups (front and rear) are mounted.
Pind ebony bass prevents shifting when playing.
Equipped with Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece.
