Charles I, execution and memorial, 1649, a lead medal (47 mm) by "F." His bust three-quarters facing right/A many headed-monster gloats over his decapitated head, crown and sceptre. 

The engraver of this impressive work has yet to be identified beyond the initial given on the obverse die, but given the German language inscriptions, it is surely from that country. The medal was produced in lead, silver and gold, but only silver examples commonly appear on the market.

about EF, even patina, a few minor marks. Very rare in this metal.
