Condition Fine with marks indicative of both age and usage. Naturally tarnished. We have left the tarnishing on. You may wish to polish this away depending upon preference. Some plate loss to extremities of patterning. The wooden bases are loose, but secure. The bases also have some white markings.

These wine bottle coasters are a pair of antique silver-plated coasters with a pierced pattern design and wooden bases. They are designed to hold bottles with a diameter of up to 94mm, with a total inner diameter of 120mm and a height of 57mm. The rims of both coasters are decorated with bead patterning, while the sides feature pierced patterning of vertical slits bordering a central geometric pattern, extending all the way around.

The interior of the coasters have hand-turned wooden bases, with a flat center to securely hold the bottle and a rim rising towards the sides of the coasters. There is no identifiable maker's branding on the coasters.

These coasters show signs of age and usage, with natural tarnishing left intact, although polishing is an option depending on preference. Some plate loss is visible at the extremities of the patterning. The wooden bases, while secure, are loose, and they exhibit some white markings.
