General description

The output electrovacuum triode - 6С4С is used to increase the power of low-frequency signals in various radio technical devices (amplifiers and generators of electromagnetic oscillations). The design of the radio lamp is distinguished by the presence of two paired triodes, all elements of which (anodes, cathodes, grids) are connected in parallel and placed in a shaped glass bulb with an octane base. The device has been produced since the 1950s, is a direct analogue of the American 6B4G lamp and was developed for Leningrad receivers, as well as for G3-2 generators.

Basic technical characteristics

• Current in the glow circuit at a voltage of 5.7-6.9 V: 1 A.
• Optimal voltage applied to the anode: 250 V.
• Anode current in operating mode: 62 mA.
• Bias voltage on the control grid: – 45 V.
• Maximum power dissipated by the anode: 15 W.
• Average signal gain: 4.
