This Connecticut fellow has such nice suit with frock coat, but it looks a bit rumpled. His, hair, too, looks like it could use a trim.

On reverse is printed:
"Photographed By
Partridge,
Cor. Main & Bank Sts.
Bridgeport, Conn."

George L. Partridge had a photography studio at this address in  Bridgeport over the years. The first mention I find is in the City Directory in1867. He appears into the 1870s, but I haven't found any references beyond that.

Card measures about 4.25 x 2.375 inches. Photo measures 3.75 x 2.25.

My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able.

There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.

I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so please check out my other listings.

I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
