Pottery wall plaque produced in Israel by Gail Ellis, dated 1993.  It is signed and dated by the artist. It measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and is 3/4 of an inch thick.  The clay was pressed into an antique butter mold to create this pottery wall plaque. It is pierced for hanging. A sheaf of wheat representing a bountiful harvest is the subject of the design.  The ground color is sandy beige with the design highlighted in mauve.  It is an interesting, earthy piece from Israel.  #E624
