 BIANCHI INTERNATIONAL is a modern day success story.  One of the modern BIG THREE makers, with top of the line manufactured holsters Bianchi has carried and developed a huge line of holsters and top of the line accessories  for the sportsman, professional competitor and law enforcement and military.

Originally a working Police Officer in Southern California in the mid 1950's, John Bianchi started making holsters in 1958.    He wanted a holster to his own taste that he felt was safe and effective for him as a Police Officer.   Friends demanded his  products and soon evolved an early "garage" business.  That has grown to an 110,000 square foot business today,not only manufacturing, but also dedicated to research and development.

Classics like the Thumbsnap, The X15 Shoulder rig (think Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry) and the $100,000 holster, the great AUTODRAW 3000 were all Bianchi originals.  I have little doubt many of these are future collectibles.-

 Bianchi holsters definitely mark a turning point in holster design that took place in the early 1970s, spawning numerous patents and designs that are still the standards 47 years later.  Taking advice and buying patents from other major manufacturers, using creative market strategies, but mostly just using  the best materials and workmanship available has gained BIANCHI a top reputation as the modern working mans holster.

Early holsters were made in Monrovia, California, but BIANCHI operates out of Temecula, California today and continues into the 21st century with work in synthetic space age materials as well as fine traditional leathers.

This is for a vintage and used classic & quality made USED BIANCHI brand police style duty holster
in BASKETWEAVE BLACK Leather.

This is old school Bianchi at its best, an innovative and top constructed holster, introduced in 1970 and granted US Patent # 3630420 in 1971 is made of a heavy-duty quality leather, double stitched on the stress areas.  It has a finished leather lined interior and is a well thought out holster. 

It is marked BREAKFRONT Model 27  & bears the Bianchi name on the back.  This is a vintage model, made when police revolvers were at their peak.

This was at one time the Standard issue holster for the California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department.

This has a retention strap, which I had to create for it.  I used Brass snaps on one end, Chromed on the other, so you can reverse it and use your choice.

The strap can also be removed for an open draw and you still have nice retention for range or field work.

 This holster features a rear trigger pocket, and is a break front design.  It has hidden inside cylinder cut outs, so it gives a flatter look to the outer surface.

This offers a higher level of grab resistance from the rear, even if the holster is unsnapped.  The draw is fast and natural, with a slight forward and upward movement, puch it straight out on target.  Very fast and impressive on the draw. 

Another nice feature is you can reholster without looking (practice required) in case you have to handcuff or otherwise deal with a suspect.  The gun will slide in, and rest tight against the trigger guard pocket and the cylinder cut outs.

Your gun is relatively secure, even when unsnapped, should the fight or foot pursuit start.  All with one simple movement.
