Presented is an antique, sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle made by George Smith & William Fearn of London in 1793. This Georgian, 18th century piece is done in a classic form. The handle has a threaded edge and script monogram of the initials GSTC.

The back is marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter S for the year 1793 and a maker's mark for George Smith and William Fearn.

This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. There are some tiny dings to the bowl, but nothing too noticeable.
