TerryLaBan (born July 19, 1961) is analternative/undergroundcartoonist andnewspapercomic strip artist.He is known for his comic book series Cud,and his syndicated strip EdgeCity, created with his wife,Patty LaBan, a couples and family therapist. LaBan is known for hissympathetic and believable characters, real-life dialogue, tightcartoon style and straightforward storytelling. LaBan began hiscareer in 1986, freelancing political cartoons for the AnnArbor News. He's been staffillustrator and political cartoonist for the progressive politicalmagazine InThese Times since1990.
