Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver berry/casserole spoon by S. Kirk & Son in their Repousse pattern, from circa the early 1900s. As the name suggests, the handle is beautifully done in repousse work of flowers and leaves. The bowl has attractively scalloped edges and features lovely repousse designs of grapes, berries and plums amidst flowers and leaves. The construction of the piece is very sturdy, in quite heavy silver. This piece is clean and completely useable today, for any general serving purpose. This is a very well made and high quality piece of American silver work, and would be an asset to any table or collection.

The reverse of the stem is stamped with the S. Kirk & Son hallmark and sterling.

The spoon is approximately 9 1/4 inches long.

The serving spoon weighs 119 grams.
