Presented is a fine set of 6 Tiffany & Co sterling silver teaspoons. These spoons are made in the ornate Persian pattern, which began production in 1872. These spoons in particular undoubtedly date close to the start of the pattern's production, within the last quarter of the 1800s. As the name suggests, this pattern features intricate Middle Eastern aesthetic designs on the handle, against a finely textured background. Four of the spoons have a monogram of VM, while the remaining two spoons have a monogram of AHB.

These spoons are in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The stem of each piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Tiffany & Co, as well as the initial M for the company director between c1872-1891, Edward Moore and the patent date for the pattern, 1872.

Each spoon is about 6 1/8 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 188 grams or 6.6 regular ounces.
