Presented is a fine quality set of 10 sterling silver seafood or cocktail forks by Gorham, in the New Queens pattern, patented 1895. These are smaller size forks than dinner forks, with three wide tines, the outermost of which have an outward curve. The handles and shoulders are decorated with a lovely shell and wheat leaf motif, front and back. The handles all have a monogrammed crest of an anchor. These are beautiful heavy pieces, very well made, and would be an asset to any table.
The forks are all in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The reverse of the stems are stamped with the Gorham hallmark and 'sterling'.
Each fork is approximately 5 3/4 inches long.
