This is the 1st British pound coin minted, these coins were decommissioned in 2017 and replaced by the new bi-metal 12 sided pound coins, the 1st being minted in 2016 and not released until 2017

The coins you see is the coins you will get. This coin was hand sourced from 1000's of pound coins. It has minimal circulation and is as close to BU brilliant uncirculated as you can get with a circulated coin.

Good circulated condition, and retains it's luster and definition with minimal scratches or abrasions. I am not a grader so judge for yourself from photos.

These coins are no longer minted or in circulation and therefore fast becoming sort after collectors’ items.
