Presented is a fine set of 4 Tiffany & Co sterling silver forks. These forks are made in the ornate Persian pattern, which began production in 1872. These forks in particular undoubtedly date close to the start of the pattern's production, within the last quarter of the 1800s. As the name suggests, this pattern features intricate Middle Eastern aesthetic designs on the handle, against a finely textured background. The forks have a monogram of VM in flowing script.

These forks are in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are some knife marks to the backs of the tines, but nothing excessive. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The stem of each piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Tiffany & Co, as well as the initial M for the company director between c1872-1891, Edward Moore and the patent date for the pattern, 1872.

The forks are about 7 1/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 192 grams or 6.8 regular ounces.
